My newest litter (technically litter 1.01. As in pair one, litter one) is doing wonderfully! I’m slightly disappointed that it looks like two of them will be solid black. No markings, and a common color. We shall see!
Another breeder on Facebook says that the brown ones will be Agouti. For which I am hoping she is wrong.
Amy & Rory had their first litter last night between 9pm and midnight! Six healthy little beans! Very squeaky and bean-like! She’s being a very attentive mother and isn’t allowing me to take very good pictures of them, but I’ll share what I managed to get thus far:
Already, just hours old, about half of the litter is much darker skinned! Hoping those will be dark burmese like their lovely mother. I’m expecting it to be half and half spot wise as well, since only one parent is spotted. But we will see as time progresses. So thrilled to see such a big, healthy litter!
The other pups are doing wonderfully, very mobile and precious. I will post a video later of them wandering around their tank.
The cutest thing in the world is watching a little baby gerbil try and chew on something. Oh my word. They are the sweetest.
He is Risen!
I don’t talk about my faith much on this blog, but today I am going to, at least a bit. Christ died to save me, defeated death, and rose again on the third day. There is no better gift than that. Eternity with the One who knit me together in my mothers womb. What a Savior. He’s calling out to your soul too. He loves you with an everlasting love, but don’t take my word for it! Grab a Bible, open it’s pages, and read about the One who died with your name on His lips.
My neighbor brought us fresh picked strawberries in this basket about a week ago, and I’ve been saving it for this ever since! I was hoping their eyes would be open for it, but it turned out just as cute as I expected anyway.
Amy is 87grams now and her due date is tomorrow! She is HUGE. I am super curious to see how many pups she has.
Again, Happy Easter, gerbil loving friends!
