Maggie & Chleo, two pups from my first River Song litter, are enjoying living with their new mommy. 🙂
Sad update for my blog followers, my sweet girl River Song passed away last week. Most likely from complications with her pregnancy. Her current litter of four are doing well, they’ve been getting kitten formula from an eye dropper and are eating solids fairly well despite being so suddenly without Momma’s milk. They are gaining about a gram a day and so far aren’t showing any signs of ill health. Their dad is taking wonderful care of them despite looking a bit depressed.
River poses for a picture.
Rest in peace, sweet River Song.
Clara is getting her dark nose point!

Temporary cage for my little boys.
Spotted Siamese girl
Light Spotted Polar Fox boy is GORGEOUS and such a little stud.
Got some photos from the family who adopted two of my first litter! Looks like they are being pampered!
Got the next litter separated today, two girls went in with my other weaned girls and the four boys get a tub of their own. Their mom delivered six new little peanuts last night!

Six new babies from my burmese girl.
My unweaned litter is getting some attention, two of them should be going to their new home in the week of the 23rd!

Had to rush my dog to the vet today after he split open his toe nail really badly. Craziness!
Soon 8 of my weaned babies will be off to their new homes and I can better focus on my newest litters. 🙂
River and The Doctor, whose pups just moved out, have blessed me with their second litter! Four healthy pups! Very excited to see what colors they will give me this time. So far it looks like light colors only, but one is a bit darker than the rest. We’ll find out soon enough.
Amy and Rory’s litter all have open eyes now and are very active and mobile! SO cute!
James–the gerbil I’m going to adopt from work–is not doing very well, he seems to have developed a fungal infection from having his nose raw for so long. He’s rubbed himself bald from his nose to his chest. But he seems very active and eats well, I’m sure he will make a full recovery.
Litter one moved out of the parents tank today, and they are loving their log cabin and wheel!
They are fully weaned now, but not ready to go to their new homes until the 18th.
Litter two has one pup with open eyes! SUCH a cutie!!
The pups from this litter are spoken for, and if my most recent possible adopter follows up (someone I met at work today looking for a female to keep their lone female company), then all of my current pups will be spoken for. Both females are pregnant with their second litters. 🙂
My newest litter (technically litter 1.01. As in pair one, litter one) is doing wonderfully! I’m slightly disappointed that it looks like two of them will be solid black. No markings, and a common color. We shall see!
Another breeder on Facebook says that the brown ones will be Agouti. For which I am hoping she is wrong.
Amy & Rory had their first litter last night between 9pm and midnight! Six healthy little beans! Very squeaky and bean-like! She’s being a very attentive mother and isn’t allowing me to take very good pictures of them, but I’ll share what I managed to get thus far:
Can’t see in the nest very well, but they’re all there!
One of the lighter skinned pups.
Already, just hours old, about half of the litter is much darker skinned! Hoping those will be dark burmese like their lovely mother. I’m expecting it to be half and half spot wise as well, since only one parent is spotted. But we will see as time progresses. So thrilled to see such a big, healthy litter!
The other pups are doing wonderfully, very mobile and precious. I will post a video later of them wandering around their tank.
The cutest thing in the world is watching a little baby gerbil try and chew on something. Oh my word. They are the sweetest.
I don’t talk about my faith much on this blog, but today I am going to, at least a bit. Christ died to save me, defeated death, and rose again on the third day. There is no better gift than that. Eternity with the One who knit me together in my mothers womb. What a Savior. He’s calling out to your soul too. He loves you with an everlasting love, but don’t take my word for it! Grab a Bible, open it’s pages, and read about the One who died with your name on His lips.
My neighbor brought us fresh picked strawberries in this basket about a week ago, and I’ve been saving it for this ever since! I was hoping their eyes would be open for it, but it turned out just as cute as I expected anyway.
Amy is 87grams now and her due date is tomorrow! She is HUGE. I am super curious to see how many pups she has.
